I'm so thrilled to offer Ruffle Butts to all the Girly Girlz out there!  Here are some of the styles I've picked up for the fall...

  

 Playground Shorts

RuffleButts aren't just for babies anymore! After much demand, we are thrilled to introduce the new RuffleButts Playground Shorts in size 2T to 6X. These super soft and stretchy shorts are designed to be worn alone to show off her ruffles, over our ruffled tights for cooler weather, or under her favorite skirt or dress for playground play. She can be a kid, hang upside down, and the only thing that will be seen are precious little ruffles! These shorts are sure to become a must-have garment for every little girl.

Made of 95% cotton/5% lycra and accented with fancy organza ruffles, they are machine washable.

Made with a large amount of stretch, the tights will fit a large size range and can often be worn beyond the size marked.

Washing tip - If machine washed, it is best to turn these inside out prior to washing. This will extend the length of the garment.

The secretary at Mabel Middle School got all the grades, teachers, and subjects mixed up for one student.

This is what she knows.

Teachers: Mrs. Heart, Mrs. Bride, Mrs. Kool, Mr. Label, and Mr. Book. Subjects: Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, and Language Arts. Grades: A, A-, B+, B, and B-.

•None of the teachers gave out a grade that begins with the first letter of their name.


•Mrs. Kool, who does not teach math or science, gave the lowest grade.


•Mrs. Heart gave a lower grade than the reading teacher, Mr. Label.


•Mr. Book gave a lower grade than the math teacher.


•Neither Mr. Book nor Mrs. Bride is the science teacher.


•The language arts teacher gave a B-.

Girly Girlz Bows and Sew Yours Boutique will be a vendor at this popular Holiday Market in the Katy area. Come by to seeus, do some great early Christmas shopping, and pick your Fall decorations from their great Pumpkin patch!


St. Peter's United Methodist Church is hosting is 20th annual Pick-A-Dilly Crafts Fair and pumpkin patch Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the church, 20775 Kingsland Blvd. You'll find indoor and outdoor craft booths, silent auctions, a bake sale, children's activities and plenty of pumpkins at this family fair. This year’s rain or shine event features over 100 vendors with a variety of unique home décor, yard décor, candles, food products, kitchen items, jewelry, handbags, embellished clothing, baby and children’s items with on-site monogramming. Many of our vendors are Greatwood residents, so come out and see the talents of your neighbors! Admission is FREE and strollers are welcome!

Gifts Galore at Greatwood is pleased to announce that a portion of the proceeds benefits Lamar Educational Awards Foundation (L.E.A.F). This Foundation is a non-profit community-based organization created to support the educational programs of Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. Teachers in the district request grants from L.E.A.F which provide resources to the students, staff and campuses of Lamar CISD that will supplement, enhance and enrich the quality of education for students in the district.

Directions to the show from Houston: Take Highway 59 South towards Sugar Land and take Grand Parkway/Hwy 99 exit. Turn left at the second stop light and go over Highway 59. Turn left at first light and proceed on the 59 frontage road. Turn right into the Greatwood Subdivision (Greatwood Parkway). At the first stop sign turn right onto Sansbury Boulevard. Take the first left onto Tara Boulevard and you will see the Dickinson Elementary parking lot to your left.
